ln adventurous mode, owner Sharon transformed a mud patch into a cleverly designed
front garden, based on circular and semi-circular flower beds, accessed by paving
stone paths, set into perfectly seeded lawns. Neat, clipped topiary trees and bushes to the left
and the right of the garages, with the emphasis on the larger garden area to the right, its
beds of roses, verbena, a large oak-leafed hydrangea, a camelia tree beyond roof height,
all in shades of pink, white and purple. An eclectic mix of cycads. agapanthus, strelitzia,
two rows of low clipped hedges edging the semi-circular flower bed sections of hedge
against the inside of a high front wall alternating with sacred bamboo.
The large back garden is a delight of ponds, a plunge pool and extensive water features
filled with fully-grown koi in orange and gold. Unexpectedly, a grotto of topiary bushes
alongside the largest water feature with small rock-edged islands against a boundary background
of tall tree and palms.
