Due to popular demand we again invite you to enjoy the first days of spring on this wonderfully well-tended and secured 8 km section of the Sandspruit River. The residents of the area have taken great pride in maintaining and beautifying the river banks along this approximate 8km stretch. Walk or relax, see the ducks and geese along the way and appreciate the tranquillity. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are also invited. This is surely one of the most classical landscaped gardens in Johannesburg. The owners started developing this garden in 2007 by planting over a 100 indigenous trees on the property. These trees have grown to big specimens as has a lane of Aloe berberae (Tree aloe). There are several flower beds with a backdrop of colourful shrubs. The garden shows an excellent mix of colour, with foliage both exotic and indigenous. A good description of this garden is a peaceful oasis.
